ABRAVA SHIPPING began its activities in August 2007; however, its founder, with a
background in Nautical Sciences and Engineering, has already rendered services to several shipping and engineering companies, as the technical responsible for logistics applied to transport and, commercially, for shipping companies, acting effectively on seagoing and coastal navigation, in addition to performing services in the following areas: Ports, Naval repairing and shipbuilding.

In addition to the accurated information on the localization of vessels, the company's management recently made investments in the acquisition of a vast database with detailed information on all vessels in the world fleet; in order to offer its clients detailed and fast information of the vessels’ characteristics, which include data about its shipowners and/or operators; as well as shipyards related to ship building and ship repairing all over the world.

ABRAVA SHIPPING is a Brazilian company with a seamanship vision of the shipping business. Acting for more than 30 years in the shipping field and acquiring 10 years of experience in maritime consultancy, the company can offer several services in the maritime segment, notably, in logistics and oceangoing and cabotage transportation.
Throughout the past 10 years, the company has been investing in the improvement of its management processes through the acquisition of softwares on the navigation area; as well as having strategic partnerships with technology companies for localization vessels (AIS), as, specifically, with the German company "Vesseltracker".
About Us
Recent association into the port area will allow the increasing services to be offered to the clients, specifically in the activity of husbandry agency into Brazilian ports, mainly in the State of Rio de Janeiro, building up a new company
"HMS BRASIL OFFSHORE", for the attendance of domestic and foreign ships and offshore support vessels.
